Find your domain
Type the name you want. We check it live against the registry, so there's no guessing.
What a domain costs
One year at a time, VAT included. Where the renewal differs from the first year we show you both, because on some extensions the registry charges a great deal more from year two.
Extensions marked in amber are cheap to register and expensive to renew. That's the registry's pricing rather than ours, and we'd rather you knew before you bought than after. 10 of these never change price, including .co.za, .org.za, .net.za. Everything else moves at renewal, and the card tells you by how much.
Picking a name that works
Should I get .co.za or .com?
If your customers are South African, .co.za. It's cheaper, it's what people here expect, and it signals you're local. Get the .com too if the name matters to you and it's still available, but lead with .co.za.
Shorter is better, mostly
You will read this domain out over the phone more often than you think. If it needs spelling twice, it's too long. Skip hyphens and numbers for the same reason.
The name I want is taken. Now what?
We show you what's still available on other extensions the moment a search comes back taken. Adding your city or what you do (capetownplumbing.co.za) usually beats mangling the spelling of the name you wanted.
